So this was one of those places that we just happened to stumble upon, an “unexpected place”. These kinds of places are my family’s favorites, because you never know when you are going to run into one, and what they are going to be about. During my last year in college my family came up for a visit and we all decided to head towards the Sevierville/ Pigeon Forge area. On our way we were on road and drove past what we just barely realized was a Bush’s Bean Factory, that had a visitor center. We were all freaking out about the idea of a Bush Bean’s museum. So we decided right then on our way back that afternoon we were going to stop to see if it actually was a museum or if it was just like a store.
As you can guess by the fact that this post even exists, there were exhibits inside the visitor center.
The exhibits themselves centered around how the company got started, and how the plant across the street works. There was also a restaurant there when we visited, but we did not actually eat in it, so I can’t speak for how well it is.
Overall is was a super cute little thing, that I am glad we happened upon. I would not suggest making a trip to the area specifically to see this place due to how small it is. However, if you happen to be in the area and want to make it a pit stop, that I would suggest.
